Well it is now 2008 and I have changed the look of the website. It still needs more recipes and further updates to the format and I will endeavour to add more in the coming months. The first thing I must do is change the photograph of me (below) as that is now more than two years old!

I have set this site up as a bit of fun, somewhere to share my recipes with other food fanatics. I hope you enjoy the recipes in the various sections, and don't forget to check back regularly to see what new tasty treats I have cooked up.

And if you have any recipes, queries  or suggestions just go to the contacts page and drop me a line - if I don't know the answer I'll post it online and see if anyone else can come up with the goods.

A new look for Naila's kitchen produce!

Following on from my venture into the Orkney Farmers Markets, my sister-in-law Joanne decided my produce needed a more professional look.

So when the first market of 2006 took place at the end of April, the handcrafted label pictured above featured on all my goods.

My thanks to Joanne for coming up with by far the most imaginative Christmas present!

Latest updates: I've finally got round to taking some pictures of my creations (well actually, it was my other half!). You can see biryani in pictures, tarka daal, my buttery scones, and take a look at the Sweet and spicy leek and pepper quiche in the vegetarian section.
